As the spread of COVID-19 has grown severely global, it drives us to a tough decision in response to the virus outbreak, that Interota 2020 Hong Kong, as initially scheduled for 27 June - 1 July 2020 in Hong Kong, will immediately come to a halt and NOT take place as scheduled.
After our tough and deliberate consideration, we reached this uneasy decision to halt the event, albeit with all the support throughout from different parties and all the good work and effort by the committee in the preparation over the previous two years and a half. While the outbreak could evolve any further unexpectedly, your safety is always our top concern.
Attention and speculation over any potential follow-up arrangements, including cancellation, postponement, and possibility of reimbursement in any case, has been all well aware of and understood. We, however, need time to elaborate on completing a careful contingency for handling the situation. It is expected that such arrangements will be announced no later than April 2020.
基於目前新型冠狀病毒疫情於全球蔓延，經審慎評估後，原定於2020年6月27日至7月1日舉辦的「2020國際扶輪世界扶青大會」將 不會 如期舉行。
承蒙各方夥伴一直以來的鼎力支持，籌委會成員於過去兩年半不間斷積極準備，惟在考量參加者及工作人員的健康安全後，大會只能遺憾地作出上述決定。各位的安全是我們的首要考慮。
大會理解各位（特別是已報名的參加者）十分關注接下來的安排，例如活動取消、活動延期，甚至參加者退款等。為更妥善處理有關安排，我們需要更多時間去審視一個更全面及符合各方利益與期望的應變計劃。籌委會將不遲於2020年4月公佈相關詳情。因活動未能如期舉行而帶來任何不便，我們深感抱歉。
